Perfect for storm readiness, these 10 simple, no-cook or minimal-cook recipes can be produced with shelf-stable items:

  • 1. Canned Tuna Salad

Three tuna cans, one mixed vegetable can, two tablespoons mayo, salt and pepper are the ingredients. Drain vegetables and tuna; then, toss with mayo, salt, and pepper. Present alongside crackers or bread.

  • 2. Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwiches

Six bananas, peanut butter, bread. Spread peanut butter on toast; cut bananas; then build sandwiches.

Two cans of chickpeas, one can chopped tomatoes, tortillas, salt, and spices make up the ingredients. Drain tomatoes and chickpeas; mash lightly; season; then put on tortillas. Form into rolls.
